Hamadan

Hamadan rugs are very usable decorative rugs.They are strong and lie flat with their cotton foundation. There are many lesser examples out there but when I see a good old one like this I will always buy it. The border attracted me to this piece with some great abrash and plenty of space to show off its decoration. To me they look like jelly fish but I am sure they are stylised flowers or just an abstract design. I think this is a great rug at a reasonable price.
