Silk Embroidered Suzani

A lovely suzani with delicate colours and an astonishingly beautiful design. The field design flows in a graceful way in an upward direction which contrasts with the rigid formality of the border. Lovely delicate colours, especially a selection of greens an reds. Note the gold outlining to the ornaments which creates a light and happy impression.. Despite areas of loss, this is both a collectible highly decorative piece.
