18th century Ottoman Embroidery
The beautiful multi coloured silk flowers embroidered onto a fine linen ground are expertly and precisely executed. This is no ordinary embroidery and must have been a special commission.
Made in one piece and in fantastic condition, this is an outstanding example of a very rare type.

Date: Circa 1750
Condition: Very nearly perfect. Only one or two small holes which have been professionally couched onto a backing cloth.
