Mid-Century Swedish Wool Kilim
Another wool kilim designed by Ingegerd Silow. Once again we see simple geometric forms that have come together to form a harmonious design. While the design may somehow been influenced by antique Anatolian kilims from Turkey, on this occasion the palette is very much 'Swedish' and would appear to have been influenced by contemporaneous Scandinavian furniture design. Note also the squarish format, again influenced by European homes. This is a very stylish and elegant piece which would work very well in modern decorative settings
