EMILY'S HOUSE LONDON
Essentially I have a tribal taste with Midcentury rugs collected from various regions to create an eclectic and multicultural aesthetic! Every rug is handwoven and so much more than just a floor covering; it is a work of art that tells a story of the cultural and artistic heritage of its maker.
Besides the beautiful Midcentury Beni Ouarain rugs, Berber rugs, Turkish kilims and nomadic rugs. I also offer a diverse selection of new made rugs, from braided jute rugs to bespoke Beni's, short piles and flat-weaves! These designs also come made-to-measure, because when it comes to rugs, size matters!
Our braided jute rugs are handwoven from plant fibres
and a popular choice for good reason! They look beautiful, have noise-reduction properties and are eco-friendly as jute is a renewable resource that requires little water and no pesticides to grow. They are incredibly diverse and a natural way to add warmth and texture without the commitment to any colour or pattern.
